![]() I didnt see any stacke for like 4 or 5 turns amd come to find out they went after Burdigala again. I headed back to my capital just incase it would he attacked, garrison was low due to great fires. This open doors for trade and non agressive agreements from Rome as well. I was able to gain Trade, non agressive agreements, and military access for literally nothing. Fucking greeks love each other apparently. This move gave me lots of trade partners. I liberate the original people to give myself an alley and also I set sail a general to find other greeks. I beat both their abnormally small stacks and went for Burdigala. ![]() They took out the Aedui, Togai (sp?), and Cessetani. 5 turns after and the Averni were strong. Anyway I got rid of the mercs and added a few draft Espistratoi Hopoitai then waited a bit while I upgrade a few things. ![]() I beat them the turn after I was declared war upon by the shitty Helvetii. Early on I bit the bullet and bought mercs then attacked Volcae. If anybody played as Massalia and had a successful campaign please give me some advice.Įdit/update: Im 53 turns in on new campaign and things are going extremely well. Also nobody wants to trade with me or have a non aggressive agreement with me without having paid a large sum which I need to build force against the constant stacks being sent at me every 3 turns. By the second turn I'm usually at war with everybody around me except Rome and Carthage. I'm playing as Massalia on the DEI mod on Hard and jesus christ I'm having the hardest time getting anything started. Think we missed one?
